It's just that I don't mind that I'm alone because when I'd sit there with you outside to watch those dazzling bright white lights they'd chide "Please go away right now!" And with a groan you'd ask them why and they'd reply "A bone we have to pick with you. You stole our pride and glory. Leave! Please go!" And terrified you left, your brain filled with this great unknown. But why am I happy you're gone? Now that you left I watch the stars, still lighting skies, and realize why they're mad. You shine so bright you put them out in their own habitat. Now that I'm here and you are there their guise I don't deny. Good riddance, shin

One sunny day I felt inclined to walk about the park. So there I went and there I met three strangers on a bench. Oh, fair they were and kind, as we began to talk. The first one had the odd name Love and balk he never would. The second, Life, his stare so glad, was fragile like he might just tear. The last was Happiness who flaked like chalk. We sat around until Time came and they began to change. From Love came Hate, who said nothing and never cracked a smile. When Life saw Hate he changed as well. Now Death, the day he stole. Then Happiness, tear streams he bled, he turned to waxy Woe but scarred by Strife.
